BBQ Cook Off Rules 2023
 
  1. Teams must consist of 2-3 individuals
  2. Team Members must all be registered for the conference 
  3. An area will be designated for each participating team 
  4. You do not have to compete in all 4 categories; however, you can if you’d like
  5. Preparation
    1. All meats will be cooked on-site
  6. Sanitation
    1. Cooks are to prepare and cook in a sanitary manner (hairnets, gloves, etc)
  7. Categories
    1. Sausage
    2. Spare Ribs
    3. Fajitas
    4. Chicken Wings
  8. Team is responsible for all items needed for BBQing (charcoal, bbq pit, napkins, etc)
    1. No electricity or water will be provided
    2. Trash Cans and trash bags will be provided
  9.     Set up will be done before 9:00am 
  10. Cooking will commence at the 11:15am dismissal and end at 3:30pm
  11. Judging Trays will be provided
    1. Each tray will be free of any markings
    2. A single sheet of aluminum foil will be supplied in each tray
    3. Cookoff Coordinator will gather all meats
  12. Judging will take place promptly at 3:30pm under the tent
